As the sole dweller in the house, journalist Zeca Camargo lives in an integrated space that prioritizes natural lighting.
The project planned a thorough renovation of the 190 m2 site located in Jardim América, an upper-class neighbourhood of the city of São Paulo. In order to implement the changes that met the resident´s requirements, the new dwelling was built using only the four beams of the former house.
The front yard brings a shallow pool, which starts from the outside and flows to the inside of the house. Surrounded by glass windows, it conveys an idea of continuity of the external and internal areas. The triple height and the moving partitions promote a seamless and bright environment, fulfilling the dweller´s specifications.
